Last night’s auction of “Brabenco” at 380 Ferndale Road however, proved that the buyers are out there and willing to defy any barrier to secure their dream property.
A credit to the owners, “Brabenco” was beautifully presented. Fiercely contested, the auction boasted 12 registered bidders who stretched from as far as Queensland to Camden in Sydney’s South West and the property was eventually knocked down to a lovely family from Sydney, setting a record for the area at $300,000 over the reserve.
Such a result (along with last week’s outstanding sale of 941 Middle Falbrook Road) provides us with confidence that Covid has certainly not stymied buoyancy in the marketplace for quality properties. The recent abolishment of lockdown in the Upper Hunter LGA’s will only see confidence return to those looking to sell their properties in the near future.
