Market Demand Remains High

As Spring begins to flourish in the Hunter Valley, demand for quality rural and residential properties in our corner of rural NSW remains extremely high. Demand continues to be driven by low interest rates and the mindset of many people looking to relocate to a more simplistic way of life away from large regional towns and cities. Unfortunately for many, getting a foot into the market remains frustratingly out of reach due to a continuing lack of properties on the market which we believe stems from owners hesitant to list what is often their greatest asset while the majority of the state is in lockdown.

The Premier will today deliver some long awaited news on the possibility of lifting some lockdown restrictions by the end of October. This will be triggered by an achievement of 70% of the population having had two doses of Covid-19 vaccine. We believe this should also see an influx of properties enter the market in the latter stage of the year and ease the property drought for those looking to relocate to our region.
