We have had two hugely successful online Auctions however these buyers just snuck in the door prior to lockdown. Unprecedented enquiry continues however the vast majority of buyers are unable to physically inspect which is hosing down the markets activity at present. We are doing our absolute best with virtual inspections and other innovative initiatives however it’s not the same. Residential buyers are inhibited by tenanted properties not allowing access and only owner occupiers can inspect (one person at a time). Some locked down Rural property buyers are frustrated to the point of buying properties sight unseen which is remarkable. We feel that once lockdowns are lifted it will be like a dam wall bursting as all the locked down buyers come flooding. Maybe it’s the calm before the storm…
